The Goldfield Hotel is dead to tours and investigations. Unfortunately, the owner’s son has closed it down to the public. The owner fell and broke his hip and rumor has it, has fallen again and broke his other hip. It has been said that the ghosts who have remained there will never let the hotel open again and so far that has proven to be true. There is no further information on the hotel. The last few investigations that were done before it was closed again left everyone virtually empty-handed.

But all is not lost! The Goldfield High School is open to tours and investigations and is very active. Those who have investigated are rarely disappointed. The high school was built in 1907 and abandoned in 1952. It still has the sensation of history that you feel as soon as you open the squeaky basement door.
